To provide “Second chance” education to those who have had to discontinue their formal education or could not join regular colleges or universities owing to social, economic, geographic and other constraints.
To provide opportunities to educate from primary to post graduate level through Open and distance learning mode.
To provide and develop Vocational course to the students of the open channel for their self-employment.
To promote Open Schooling (Academic & Vocational) at National and Global level by networking, capacity building, sharing of resources and quality assurance.
To undertake and co-ordinate educational research and program on the suggestion of State and Central government etc.
